About Journal

Soil Research is a peer-reviewed, scientific quarterly journal dedicated to the publication of original research regarding the management, conservation, and sustainability of soil resources. Established in 1985 (1364 SH), it is one of the pioneering research journals in the field of soil science in Iran.

The journal covers a wide range of topics, including soil survey and mapping, soil chemistry and fertility, soil physics, soil-water-plant relationships, soil erosion, land degradation and conservation, and the sustainable utilization of soil resources. Articles submitted to this journal must represent original research that has not been previously published nor submitted simultaneously to other journals. The primary language of the journal is Persian, and all articles include an English abstract.

The journal follows a double-blind peer-review policy and provides open-access to its content.

Publication Ethics:

While not an official member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Soil Research strictly adheres to its principles, ethical standards, and core practices in the review and publication of all manuscripts.
